Refund Policy

Overview
Wellar offers three things, and each has its own refund terms: recurring subscriptions (the Architect plan and the WAR Drift Monitor add-on), the one-time AWS Cost & Well-Architected Audit, and the Free plan. This page covers all three.
1. Subscriptions (Architect plan & Drift Monitor add-on)
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days of your subscription, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
To request a refund, email us at mail@wellar.io within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. Include your account email and, optionally, the reason for your request (it helps us improve). Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
After the 14-day guarantee period, subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can still cancel at any time:
- Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- No further charges are made after cancellation.
- Your account downgrades to the Free plan at the end of the period.
Upgrades are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period, and you keep your current features until then.
2. AWS Cost & Well-Architected Audit (one-time)
Findings guarantee. If the audit identifies neither (a) actionable annualized savings at least equal to the audit fee, nor (b) any High or Critical Well-Architected risk, you get a full refund.
To claim the findings guarantee, request a refund within 14 days of receiving your Cost & Savings Report. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method.
We deliver the audit on a 72-hour service-level agreement. If we miss that delivery SLA, you may choose one of the following:
- A pro-rata refund,
- A free re-assessment, or
- An upgrade.

3. Free Plan
The Free plan has no associated charges, so no refund applies. You can use the Free plan indefinitely with no obligation.
Exceptions
We may issue refunds outside the windows above in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Extended service outages that materially affected your use of the platform
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Other situations at our discretion
